Autumn 2007December Catch-up - Part IIOooo! Look at the size of that spider!!
Finally, we are able to settle a long standing debate. Golf is officially not a sport.
According to SportNonSport.com, Golf scores 54 and this score is too low to be a sport.

Quote:
Let's face it, just because golf is hard for the average man, doesn't make golf a sport,
Physics is hard too, but you don't see Albert Einstein winning Sportsmen of the Year awards now do you?

Having been officially banned from Lincoln Golf Club for, er, un-clubly behaviour (drunkenly I took a club-trolley thing into the bar!!) I have to say I'll probably never visit a club again. Good to feel not so alone!! :) Besides, I could never wear those trousers!

Nigel, that's priceless!
I can just imagine you driving the golf buggy into the bar and drunkedly slurring the words "Mind if I play through?"
Fantastic!! Much kudos!
