We have been back a couple of days having spent a week in Costa De La Luz (Spain) at the Riu Atlantico Hotel.
It was Abigail's first holiday and she had a great time, her high spots being the pool, beach, mini disco and the moon.
Airport
We flew from Manchester airport where we watch our plane come in.
Pool
Our one week holiday coincided with the second week of Ian and Christine's fortnight who can be seen on their balcony with Abigail.
Balcony
Our balcony overlooked an estury and faced sunrise.
Morning milkies on the balcony became the routine start to the day.
Beach
The Riu Atlantico is placed on the corner of the estury and a beach which is a short walk through some grass a long a decked path.
After a brief play with her bucket and spade, Abigail decided she wanted to be in the sea; marching off on her own.
Kite Flying
Ian brought his kite down to the beach for a quick fly.
Night Time and Mini Discos
After dinner, there was a kid's disco which Abigail loved.
The other main attraction was the night sky - it hadn't occurred to me, but Abi never sees night time, she usually asleep. On our first night, she spotted Lunar and immediatly became fixated. Every night was spent looking for her.
Ayamonte
The nearby town of Ayamonte offers an unspoilt view of a Spanish town getting on with its own thing without selling out to tourists, I hope it can stay like this forever.
