These Boots are Made for WalkingWatching the boats going out, and then coming back in againA Long Weekend in the Lakes
Yesterday tea time, Abigail and me went to the hospital to collect Ryan and Clare.
Abigail was very excited to meet her little brother for the first time and give him some balloons she'd selected.
Baby Ryan delivered a present for Abigail too; a Dora The Explorer Scooter and roller skates.
Last night was our first night at home and we got off lightly!

So, you got SOME sleep then?

Posted by: Tom on Thursday, July 5, 2007 19:48
Yup we got some sleep :-)
There was also a fair amount of pacing up and down too, but the little chap seems easy to placate.

Lovely pictures!!! :D Some sleep is a rare commodity with two small kids! How did Abi take the new one?

Thanks. Abigail has stepped up to be fantastic big sister.
If Ryan's crying, she'll suggest a dum-dum or pat his back sympathetically. She's great!

Tim,
That's wonderful news and I hope that he and Clare have an easy time of it.
At what age do Ryans develop Brummie accents and start talking about looking at musli? Or the nutritional benefits of eggy breads?

Hiya Jon!
I'll watch out for the accent and keep you posted.
Don't forget good old Beans ala Ryan (beans and pepper)
Cheers!

Thanks Hash. I have to admit that the nights are beginning to age me. I almost look my actual age (27). More beauty sleep required.
